"Foundations of Stone" plays at the very beginning of The Two Towers.Shore managed to put one of his most tear-inducing, spine-tinglingly beautiful moments about 23 minutes into the Fellowship of the Ring end credits.Makes for a memorable conclusion to Fellowship of the Ring, and will keep many audiences in their seats while the end credits roll. Short as it is, The Ring Goes South is an awesome piece that plays as the Fellowship leaves Rivendell and culminates in literal fanfare accompanying a shot of the Fellowship as they come up over a hill one-by-one.One of the most ethereal songs ever written? Possibly. If you weren't sucked into Middle-Earth before this came on, you are now.
